labatt blue light (24oz)

july 6th

late one drunken evening me and tyler decided to shotgun beers because we were out of drinking beers if that makes any sense. i assure you this was not done in june, we just somehow couldn't get the date right. if you can't handle the cuteness i'm sorry but you should stick it out so you can see me tap dance in spilled beer at the end. thanks to mark and courtney for providing the labatt blue!

icehouse (12oz)

may 14th

shotgunning an icehouse with my main man dj q-kumbre! not much to say about icehouse. i did enjoy it on tap in milwaukee once. it was after a tour of the miller brewery where we were given 3 pints of tap beer, somehow i think i was the only person there that chose icehouse...what's the deal? this stuff is refreshing and good for the body.

rolling rock (12oz)

may 8th

i've had rolling rock in bottles and at parties from a keg but this is the first can i think i've ever had so i'm glad it was saved for us to shotgun. thanks to john for guestgunning and burping with me! he is the man that introduced me to katamari so another thanks goes out to him for that.

natural ice (12oz)

may 7th

the reason i went to ny was to play an awesome show at a sweet house in the bronx that i had never been to. it went great and i got to shotgun a beer with some of the residents of said house. thanks to all of the people that crammed into the bathroom that evening and a special thanks to paul shaffer!

dorada (12oz)

may 6th

can't find much out about this stuff...it's cheap and not too bad tasting. it's brewed by the black mountain brewing co. but all i can find on them sends me to chili beer which sounds delicious but only comes in bottles. thanks to kever for guestgunning on the roof of his house! foam burps always make me happy.

corona (24oz)

may 5th

shotgunning a corona on a dark street in brooklyn seemed like the perfect way to celebrate cinco de mayo! when i say dark i mean it...sorry for the quality of this video i should have picked a brighter spot but the five-0 was rolling deep because they hate partying. thanks to nathan and stephen for guestgunning. this one goes out to denise chavez!

heineken (12oz)

april 10th

100 days! you would think i would have had a giant shotgun party or something to celebrate but i have been playing life by ear lately and i happened to be in ny on day 100. and anyways 100 is no big deal, i could shotgun a hundred beers in a weekend. thanks to spencer to shotgunning with me in the back yard of abc no rio (after, not during the hc/punk matinee of course)

schlitz very smooth lager (12oz)

april 3rd

first thing me and mike did when we got to belle isle was shotgun some gold bull. it was a killer day that ended in a hot tub and a free hotel room. thanks to mike for guest gunning and thanks to the cutthroats for making slaughterama possible!

should have figured this can wouldn't make it through the day uncrushed.

boddington's pub ale (16oz)

march 29th

apparently room temperature boddington's is very explosive so you should probably chill it before shotgunning. i think this is the most interesting beverage i have done so far because it didn't even seem like beer, it felt more like shotgunning a cloud.

this is a picture i took of the boddington's brewery while on a bike trip from london to glasgow.

brooklyn lager (16oz)

march 11th

we tried to get the guy in the bodega to film this but he wasn't havin' it. i asked him for some warm ones that weren't in the cooler because we had a limited amount of time before midnight, unfortunately the ones we got must have been stored in the boiler room and were blazing hot. thanks to allen for representing brooklyn!

porkslap pale ale (12oz)

february 13th

i've read a bunch of other reviews of porkslap and a handful of them compare it to piss water and i have no idea what those people are talking about because i think it's pretty awesome. it was a beautiful copper color and the finish, which is about all there is when you shotgun a beer, had a smokey hoppy flavor. it's brought to us by butternuts beer and ale and i hope they send me the other 3 varieties of canned craft beer that they produce.

carling black label (12oz)

february 11th

thanks to lz for guestgunning! happy birthday stuart! i don't really like to support canada but this canadian beer is makde in america so it's ok. and although i've never met anyone named mabel, their commercials have been pretty interesting throughout the years.

faxe premium (33.8oz)

january 30th

thanks to lucas for gustgunning! me and lucas have done this before and succeeded, i blame the cold weather and the oh so cold faxe for making this puke video possible. we went to a spot around the corner from abc no rio where lucas has downed many a beer. we will try this again, maybe sometime in the summer or at least after the beers have been properly warmed. this one wins (at least for me) as the best shotgun experience of january.

budweiser (12oz)

january 29th

thanks to camilla for guestgunning! we started the day at about 7am with some bling bling mad dog and here we are shotgunning around 11pm and continuing to party well into the early morning once again.
