i hope someday i see people walking around with joose themed tattoos. i mean people already get dragons and panthers and shit, why not take it up a notch?
apparently room temperature boddington's is very explosive so you should probably chill it before shotgunning. i think this is the most interesting beverage i have done so far because it didn't even seem like beer, it felt more like shotgunning a cloud.
this is a picture i took of the boddington's brewery while on a bike trip from london to glasgow.
wait for it...it was dark and i didn't want to spoil the mood by having the light on for long so sit back and enjoy mutilation rites until the light comes on.
i think i may have butchered this song by cutting it off too soon. if enough people want me to i can post the full 9 minutes.
this was one of those days when you don't wanna get out of bed to shotgun a beer so you just do it in bed...you know what i mean? thanks to mickey for sitting on me all the time and thanks to hamm's for inspiring me to get better at drinking in bed.
another gem brought to us by the melanie brewing company. hey melanie brewing, send me alcohol, i have decided i want you to be my sponsor! ryan is a champ for shotgunning one handed with a broken collarbone.
ewwww....i got on this train a little late, never tried one when it had caffeine and now it's just a gross raspberry flavored beer-ish thing. i was kinda wishing i had something more american to shotgun in front of the washington monument but the more i think about it this bud extra stuff is pretty american, it used to be an alcoholic energy drink but then people whined and complained and now it's just disgusting...sounds like america to me. oh and thanks to 9/11 my camera operator felt the need to shut off the camera as soon as the empty can hit the ground. so no burp for you this time america!
i'm into polish beer and this one is really good but i sometimes prefer them out of 51oz plastic bottles. if anyone can track down baltika 9 in a can or any other tatra varieties please me know.
happy birthday to tyler! thanks to chad for the perfect timing with this tasty bombshell blonde ale from souther star brewery. today's shotgun is not brought to us by shell even though it may seem like it. we just happened to be filling the van with gas when i decided to shotgun my beer for the day.
so this is what happens when you try to film something in the dark and the light on your camera sucks. the fact that the person operating the camera is wasted probably doesn't help much either. thanks to everyone in colombus, ohio for making sure we had a good old (style) time!
i love milwaukee and always have a pretty awesome time there. hamm's is cheap and delicious! maybe one day lakefront brewery will get around to canning and i'll have a chance to shotgun their selection. thanks to everyone who shotgunned beers that morning and the night before. whoever made the porcharitas thanks to you too!
i was not prepared for st. patricks day, but i'm sure there are irish people out there that drink keystone light so whatever. thanks to amber for shotgunning in the van with me!
what a beautiful can. thanks to atlanta for providing me with this one. i wish i had one to drink at a slower pace so i could decide if i like it or not.
i was gonna shotgun one of these between each song but we have a few songs that kinda go into each other, i ended up only shotgunning two during the set, i kept the can from the second one. i'm gonna put up the stuff from the show tomorrow. it good, sexy crimes and pizza party @ the cat cove in atlanta.
so this is the third bathroom shotgun in a row...guess i have some sort of weird fetish or something. this beer is best consumed while dancing, at least that is what i gather from this video. i don't remember if this beer was good because i was drunk but it did win the great american beer festival in '87 so i guess it's gotta be good, right?
we tried to get the guy in the bodega to film this but he wasn't havin' it. i asked him for some warm ones that weren't in the cooler because we had a limited amount of time before midnight, unfortunately the ones we got must have been stored in the boiler room and were blazing hot. thanks to allen for representing brooklyn!
a wonderful after dinner shotgun. just a little over 6 ounces and so quick. settles wonderfully over whatever is in your stomach. thanks to ryan and joel for shotgunning less comically sized beverages!
here is something to hold you over for one more day. all the videos from tour have been imported to the computer and tomorrow i will edit and post as many as possible...
i didn't choke on a widget this time around. i don't think it is really even much of a possibility anymore. be back from tour in two weeks, goodbye for now!
mar 11th - brooklyn, ny mar 13th - richmond, va mar 14th - asheville, nc mar 15th - atlanta, ga mar 16th - chattanooga, tn mar 17th - berea, ky mar 18th - milwaukee, wi mar 19th - chicago, il mar 20th - columbus, oh
so what if i decided to go in the bathroom and shotgun a natty ice alone while there was a party going on. and so what if i keep stressin' this natty thing...its all about where you come from.
a few short hours after shotgunning those schmidt cans i was drunk and we continued to shotgun beers. thanks to hector and adam for shotgunning and tyler for helping adam do two sweet things at once, and of course thanks to denise the lovely woman in control of the camera.
thanks to adam for guestgunning! made it to philly with about ten minutes to spare and thanks to our friends, there were some beautiful 16oz hunting cans waiting for us when we got there.
after rolling out, cutting, stuffing and cooking a whole bunch of mini ravioli i suggest maybe a glass of red wine instead of a large can of watermelon flavored 12% alcoholic energy drink.
it's fun trying be quiet while shotgunning beer. i think the beer ninja is gonna have to make an appearance sometime. this pale ale is brought to us by the anderson valley brewing co. and tastes like the sun.
only two months in and i'm already going crazy. i can find nothing on this northern light low carb beer that i acquired in westchester...anyone know anything about them? they are based in cold spring, minnesota. i stumbled upon this while looking for info on them: coldspring brewing co. so remember that christmas is on the way everybody.
