joose: orange (23.5oz)

july 31st

the dance party had died down so we decided to get it going again with a dancing shotgun....this video is long and i got lazy about editing it so you get to experience all the same awkward wait time that those of us that were there got to enjoy.

summer solstice cerveza crema (12oz)

july 30th

i like it when complete strangers get involved and even seem to have a passion for what i'm doing even if it confuses the shit out of them.

natural light (16oz)

july 29th

i know i was complaining and ranting but i have noticed that a large majority of beers shotgunned on the internet happen to be bud light. and it doesn't take the worlds largest kitchen knife or the force of macho man randy savage to open a beer to be shotgunned.

max: fury (23.5oz)

july 28th

max fury...what can i say, it's orange flavored and gets you drunk. it actually settled well even though the van was bouncing around the whole time. i suggest doing it on solid ground if you have a weak stomach at all...or just stick to being a weenie and drinking out of the top of a can.

lion imperial (12oz)

july 27th

even after all my complaining about not getting to savor some of these drinks i still thoroughly enjoyed this one in shotgun form. it left my tongue tingling and had a nice grainy smell that lingered in my nose. the simplicity of the can design also makes it very visually appealing to me.

labatt ice (24oz)

july 26th

i guess i should be thankful that labatt has so many different 24oz varieties because without them i definitely wouldn't be able to make it to 365. i'm keeping my eyes open for anything else in this area i can do but it looks like i'm gonna have to take a beer distributor trip to another state soon. any suggestions?

royal weisse ale (12oz)

july 25th

i love scrabble and jurassic park just like everyone else who is smart but an amazing unfiltered wheat beer just brings it all together. sly fox hits the nail on the head once again!

Saturday, July 24, 2010

red oval classic lager (12oz)

july 24th

it's not a bad beer. i heard they have it at trader joes. not much else to say about it. but of course, thank you kyler for the trade because even though red oval doesn't stand out...it had to be done. here's to dude's night.

straub (12oz)

july 23rd

i feel like a road trip is going to have to happen sometime in september or october in order to actually accomplish my quest. thanks to washington d.c. for supplying a can of straub. it was a wonderful day (except being baked to death while stuck in traffic) and it ended with a cold shotgun and a chance to see a band that i got into 3 years after they had already broken up. it was awesome to see so many young kids there, i realized that some of them we're probably 3 or 4 years old when capn' jazz broke up and they were still given the opportunity to see them play.

olde english 800 (16oz)

july 22nd

i'm beginning to feel like a 16oz can is the perfect amount to shotgun. 12oz cans go too fast and 24's can be just slightly taxing on the stomach. i've been putting off the 32oz cans for awhile but i think i'm almost ready to get back into that realm. give me another week or two.

budweiser select 55 (12oz)

july 21st

awesome show at reference gallery but the low calorie content of my shotgun didn't make up for all the calories from the green apple wild irish rose i drank just before it.

Tuesday, July 20, 2010

mickey's ice (16oz)

july 20th

it's hard to tell, but in the backround there is an awesome street fight going down and it actually made its way down towards us. there was occasionally a good connection and the thwaps could still be heard as they continued down the block and rounded the corner.

joose: raspberry lemonade (23.5oz)

july 19th

so i should have gone all out and had a party for this one because it was day 200 but i didn't even realize it until the next day. either way it was a good night and i am not ashamed to say that the raspberry lemonade could help turn me into a girl drink drunk.

game day ice (12oz)

july 18th

my first on camera teen wolf attempt was not a failure but i need to figure out the logistics of how to get a better hole made with one quick bite. anyone with tips please feel free to let me know, this is all about education and bettering ourselves. thanks to dj qkumbre for getting down with me, he's got the teen wolf down tight.

medalla light (10oz)

july 17th

happy birthday to nicole and erin! we did a wonderful shotgun circle and i'm really into the way it came out. it sounds sweet hearing the tops being popped all the way around. thanks to jessica for smuggling a cute little beer back from puerto rico

miller high life light (24oz)

july 16th

i think i handled the regular high life better than the light version. something didn't go down right with this shotgun, i think i didn't open my throat correctly and i felt it for sure. i felt very full and almost as if my stomach was going to explode and i had no burp relief. anyways, you'll be happy to know that i survived and carried on with the evening by biking around and finding some more pools to break into this summer because the rooftop one is all sorts of blown up and is probably in its last season.

el jimador: margarita (12oz)

july 15th

this video was done in response to double complete shotgun but i feel like the chances of me getting almost 6 million views for shotgunning something while wearing two luchador masks is not likely...but with your help, who knows! thanks to mike for scoring two flavors of el jimador for me.

avalanche amber ale (12oz)

july 14th

so mikey came to town with a band he's in called knifey spoony and we succesfully had the first show at our new house. it turned from a 3 band show to a 5 band show and still worked out ok...no cops. we had a big groupgun before the last band, mauser from gainesville who were awesome and i'm psyched that we got to squeeze them in on the show last minute. this avalanche stuff was tasty and i'm glad i got a 6 pack so i can enjoy some at a slower pace someday.

miller lite (24oz)

july 13th

my friend aria had just arrived in town a mere 30 minutes before i decided to do my days shotgun so it was suggested she get on my shoulders and pop the can open for me...this is the outcome! i have an aluminum miller lite bottle on reserve just incase i run out of cans and i figure it would be an interesting experiment as well.

special export (24oz)

july 12th

i wish we had been set up and ready to shows at the house already so witches could have played there but the new space on northside works too! thanks to everyone who downed a quick beer before the last song. this special export reminds me of the one i shotgunned earlier in the year except bigger.

max: vibe (24oz)

july 11th

whenever you hear "chug chug chug chug" in the distance it is advised that you do some exploring because there is probably a slip and slide, a kiddie pool and a pot of gold at the end of that chanting rainbow. and if you play truth or dare be prepared to get your lip bit.

Saturday, July 10, 2010

earthquake (24oz)

july 10th

this is the kind of beverage that is likely to make someone puke when shotgunned, however, if you manage to hold it down prepare yourself for an exciting evening with endless possibilities! a tasty drink that is sure to have repeat customers

genesee cream ale (12oz)

july 9th

so i unintentionally am on a genesee kick i guess. i think what happened is i got intimidated by the amount of 24oz cans left in my room and decided to go for a 12oz for the evening. i made the right choice too, between the genesee and the hooka it was a chill evening that progressed into a sweet trip to taco bell...and wendys, but that was carltons idea

Thursday, July 8, 2010

genesee (12oz)

july 8th

apparently i have a crush or something because i babbled on about tim for quite sometime. thanks to tim for the genesee, i've had genesee cream ale and genesee light before but didn't realize there were so many more varieties. i still need a genesee ice and then maybe an n.a. if i start to run out of other options.

kirin ichiban (24oz)

july 7th

this particular evening made me feel very fancy and exotic, a rooftop poolside shotgun of a beautifully designed can of kirin ichiban while cars and trucks zoomed by on I-95 in the distance. next time i come across kirin i would like to get one to sip on because it seemed it went by too fast. oh and i'm sorry that i paused to answer my phone before i finished the shotgun.

labatt blue light (24oz)

july 6th

late one drunken evening me and tyler decided to shotgun beers because we were out of drinking beers if that makes any sense. i assure you this was not done in june, we just somehow couldn't get the date right. if you can't handle the cuteness i'm sorry but you should stick it out so you can see me tap dance in spilled beer at the end. thanks to mark and courtney for providing the labatt blue!

Monday, July 5, 2010

game day light (24oz)

july 5th

it doesn't seem like the kind of thing that would cause watery eyes but somehow a game day light made me tear a little bit. i still wish the can said something about 7-11 on it, they make their own everything now and you can get farmville water...whatever the fuck that is.

Sunday, July 4, 2010

american (12oz)

july 4th

hadad's lake was full of urine and beer and i drank both. had a good time but the alcohol and the sun kicked my ass and i passed out before midnight.

Saturday, July 3, 2010

core: spike punch (24oz)

july 3rd

i was convinced i was going to puke because i was full of beer and chili as there was a cookoff at the bike lot that evening...but somehow as soon as that bright red liquid started flowing i wished it would never stop or that it would at least last as long as the coliseum song that started off my shotgun.

pbr light (12oz)

july 2nd

there is something about drinking pbr that makes it easy to forget that there is a light version of this drink. it's something i have overlooked for sometime and i had the opportunity to trade one regular pbr for one light, just to have this to shotgun. i honestly didn't notice much of difference in the ten seconds this coursed its way through my mouth and down my throat, but i do think the blue on blue design looks beautiful

olde english 800 (12oz)

july 1st

easily the longest video i've done so far, thanks to all the people who joined the shotgun chain to celebrate 6 months of keepin' it real. i chose an olde english 800 because the new house is located at 800 N. 22nd St. i was already drunk so i crushed my can as soon as it was empty, but these things happen. 6 months to go, wish me luck!
