hobgoblin dark english ale (16.9oz)

october 31st

had a wonderful halloween (sorry that i didn't dress up for all of you) and kept it pretty simple. helped a friend out by working a stop for his frankenstein-y cyclocross race and figured it would be a good time and place to shotgun a can of hobgoblin. it went down easy and i have to admit it made me feel great within minutes.

miller high life (32oz)

october 30th

a big can, but not a strong or dangerous drink. still a lot of liquid to put in one belly at one time!

camo: black extra (24oz)

october 29th

don't believe the can. "extra smooth taste"? i'd have to disagree. didn't come back up though so i can't complain too much.

core: orange hg (24.oz)

october 28th

ok...so i tried very hard to find the footage for this and it turns out that i have recorded over it, what you see is all that survived, basically just me picking up the camera after the shotgun. i have decided that this is ok because after some investigating it seems i already did a can of core orange hg on february 4th, at first i thought i had been tricked into thinking this was something new because of the design of the can, which is different, but upon further inspection i discovered that the alcohol content was also different. so, since it went from 10% to 12%, in way it was a new accomplishment.

mike's harder fruit punch (24oz)

october 27th

i would be embarrassed by this video normally, but i'm not, i was in full flex and have nothing to be ashamed of. i hope somehow yolandi visser gets wind of my shotgun project.

blue moon (12oz)

october 26th

i had no idea that blue moon came in a can. i'm glad it does and i'm glad i found some. now if only i could cram an orange wedge in the top while shotgunning i'd be all set

Monday, October 25, 2010

four o (24oz)

october 25th

i don't really understand the whole "street legal" thing but i'm into this stuff. the whole kinda ghetto but kinda hip can design is quite stunning really.

Sunday, October 24, 2010

evil eye (24oz)

october 24th

i really wish this as the sour green apple flavor. we used to get 40's of that stuff at food bazaar and it always developed into a good time.

Saturday, October 23, 2010

old speckled hen (14.9oz)

october 23rd

the end of widget week! i wish i had saved all my widget cans from the whole year and did them consecutively, but alas widget week has been shortened to widget 6 days.

Friday, October 22, 2010

murphy's irish stout (14.9oz)

october 22nd

so rich and creamy, try pouring into a pint glass instead of shotgunning for maximum flavor sensation.

Thursday, October 21, 2010

tetley's english ale (14.9oz)

october 21st

had a wild spooky night at booger woods. when you mix spice and weed and then go crawl around in dark spaces with your friends good times are bound to happen.

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

young's double chocolate stout (14.9oz)

october 20th

thick and smooth if you know what i mean. no bubbles, just straight dark stout with a hint of sweetness.

Tuesday, October 19, 2010

wexford irish cream ale (14.9oz)

october 19th

opened with a slow steady hiss and nice snap. no complaints, a pretty awesome breakfast for sure!

Monday, October 18, 2010

guinness (14.9oz)

october 18th

the beginning of widget week! lets hope i don't swallow or choke on one. nice dark guinness, a wonderful way to start the day.

Sunday, October 17, 2010

schaefer light (12oz)

october 17th

i'm very thankful that this was found for me, but what am i gonna do with a whole twelve pack of it?

Saturday, October 16, 2010

st ides (24oz)

october 16th

something that reminds me of being younger and something i had a stronger stomach for back then. except even then i would drink a 22 or 40 in a reasonable amount of time instead of slamming a 24oz in less than a minute.

modus hoperandi (12oz)

october 15th

i think the oyster cracker i swallowed whole and this beer go perfectly together. it went quick in my mind so i don't have much to say about it except thank you ska brewing co. for making great beer and playing the toasters as soon as your website comes up.

coldspring: honey almond weiss (32oz)

october 14th

this rules! coldspring brewing co. makes some tasty craft beer in 32oz cans. what more could i ask for? anytime i see big cans of alcohol it reminds me of cheap stuff or bad energy drinks so i am super excited to be able to change that thanks to coldspring. i have a moonlight ale on hand for later on but if anyone can track down the pale ale (green can) i would be forever grateful.

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

camo: black ice (24oz)

october 13th

had some trouble, couldn't do it. the other camo i have (which is stronger) is gonna be interesting for sure.

Monday, October 11, 2010

colt 45 high gravity (24oz)

october 11th

really reminded me of cheerios and had some harsh burps and even spit a little out as i reached the bottom to avoid all of it coming back up.

Sunday, October 10, 2010

four loko: lemon lime (24oz)

october 10th

this is probably the stickiest i've ever gotten from a shotgun, four loko all over my frontside. shortly after this i asked a lady if i could use some of her water to clean the "soda" off of my glasses and she totally shot me down. my timing was pretty sweet too...as soon as i open the can a whole family, stroller and all, makes its way over to my corner.

Saturday, October 9, 2010

gubna imperial ipa (12oz)

october 9th

i have to admit i feel a little spoiled when i get to indulge in delectable beers in succession. gubna imperial ipa is brought to us by oskar blues and clocks in at 10%
good stuff, try and track down a can or 6-pack for yourself and relax.

Friday, October 8, 2010

monk's blood (12oz)

october 8th

this stuff rules...cool name, sweet looking can and smooth ass beer. nice and dark, just the way i like it. i'm gonna keep my eyes out for another one of these to sip on someday.

Thursday, October 7, 2010

tilt: red (24oz)

october 7th

so embarrassing, i shouldn't be allowed to be in front of the camera for more than 2 seconds after shotgunning gross stuff like tilt.

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

sclitz: silver bull (24oz)

october 6th

i don't think the day could have gotten any shorter, that really makes no sense at all. the silver bull is always a wonderful bull to ride.

Tuesday, October 5, 2010

heineken (24oz)

october 5th

too much for me to handle, at least in terms of foam resting in my belly. some of it had to come up in burp form. i might even go as far to say that the keg shaped can creates more foam than a normal 24oz would.

Monday, October 4, 2010

mountain dew throwback (12oz)

october 4th

ok, so i need a break from drinking. i would like to finish this project though so i think at the very least a can of mountain dew should suffice for one day.

Sunday, October 3, 2010

mike's harder mango punch (24oz)

october 3rd

this stuff is an awesome find! keep up the good work mike. bring me a kiwi strawberry hardest punch and i'll forever be grateful.

Saturday, October 2, 2010

olde english 800 (24oz)

october 2nd

the state fair would have been a lot more appealing to me if it didn't cost $15 to get in. after paying that much just to walk around i did make sure to get my fix of redneck watching, but didn't go on a single ride. if i'm going to spend $6 to go on a ferris wheel it damn well better be the wonder wheel. the highlights of the evening were seeing someone faint during the freak show and emt's having to rush her away and then seeing someone get thrown off the mechanical bull and the emt's having to rush her away, so i think to save myself some money i'm just gonna hang out by the hospital so i can benefit from the joys of seeing strangers in pain.

sly fox oktoberfest lager (12oz)

october 1st

i am actually pretty excited about october because there will be some yummy seasonal beers and i will also be doing widget week soon. 7 days (maybe only 6, don't remeber if i have enough cans) of tasty beverages that all have widgets in them.
this sly fox oktoberfest hit the spot while surrounded by pumpkins in the kroger parking lot.
