had a great time at the taste of india festival, fell in love with my new favorite dessert, jalebi, which is basically crunchy deep fried dough soaked in a sweet honey like syrup...so good! i had some both before and after shotgunning my joose, sweetness overload!
it took me forever to find this video. i ran out of tapes a month or two ago and have foolishly been recording over them. they are all saved on my computer and a hard drive and also (hopefully) immortalized on youtube, but i really wish i had just gotten a few tapes per month so i would never have to record over anything.
just relaxin' on the porch swing shotgunning a tasty beverage and hearing about some chumps that we're venturing into uncharted territory for themselves. i don't think church hill is dangerous, unless you suck, then watch out 'cause you we'll get you and you'll never see the fan again and then we'll take your meal card and have a party at shafer.
this is a pretty embarrassing fail. this is what happens when you smoke too much weed in byrd park and don't have the proper tool to open a shotgun hole in a very thick can.
actually a very easy shotgun, fruit punch flavored things just remind me of hawaiian punch, which reminds me of being a kid, after this shotgun i did feel very silly and kid like so i guess it all makes sense.
thanks to bernadette for scoring this can for me! i decided it would be perfect to shotgun at the roller derby since it was her crew, mother state roller derby, that was crushing the other team into the ground. this stuff had a malty, almost toffee flavor that was followed by a nice hoppy aftertaste. definitely worth drinking again.
delicious but very weird. the beginning taste reminds me of a belgian style ale and then there is a strong taste of citrus that follows. not a common beer for shotgunning but i think the way the flavors blend together as they rush over tongue works out very well.
yuengling is better out of a can than a 22oz bottle but this one gave me some gnarly bubbles. my kitties gave me some weird looks while those loud noises were coming out my mouth.
i couldn't find a can of faygo blue moon mist so i figured sparks light (blue) would suffice. you can easily play a drinking game to this movie, just drink everytime someone says the word "bitch" or gets slapped and shotgun a beer anytime there is a "hooowwwwwwwwlll"
well...were you there? this one goes out to dale earnhardt. it also goes out to leanna and brittney who brought it up for me and had the idea to sing and shotgun for car #3!
if you can legally drink on the staten island ferry why not go all out? i wanna bring a keg on with a bunch of people. we would just have to finish it before we made it across because once it's tapped we might get an open container ticket when we step foot on land.
rag rage played with lotus fucker in a basement in baltimore and it was pretty tight. sorry about the footage, i think people wanted to see their glowsticks more than they wanted to see the bands. the night definately went raveward quickly. as for the michelob lager...i'd choose it over michelob ultra anyday and i am actually excited for the michelob lime cactus shotgun in the next couple of weeks.
some killer teen wolf action while van surfin' i gotta practice cause this is totally a sweet party trick or even just fun to do to a random vehicle stopped at a red light. i should do a daytime one so you can actually see some bite action.
works every time...only faster! had an awesome generator show set up for rag rage and the two funerals so i decided to shotgun then, unfortunately it was pitch black out and even the tiki torches didn't do the trick for lighting.
this must have been the 3rd or 4th chinatown bus shotgun but this was the first where i found the beer for the day a block away 5 minutes before getting on the bus. people at the clara barton rest stop were confused and amused.
i had the least festive beer ever with me for this day. it did help me save room for some tasty nutcrackers though. be sure to check out the west indian day parade next year!
what a cool simple can, what an awesome name, i'm realy excited that this exists. the view was also epic, atop the wonderwheel surrounded by awesome people, couldn't ask for a better location for this one. thanks to scott and rudi for finding this gem!
dusty and warm one the floor of a bodega on bushwick ave. and i think it was quite tasty. as everyone knows, dab stands for dortmunder actien brauerei which is the name of the brewery that started this lager out in germany in 1868. apparently in 1879 they started exporting it internationally so it was probably sitting on the floor of that bodega for at least a hundred years.
gary was on wind in the pines so we kicked it on the porch and shotgunned one of leo's favorite beverages. i only tasted it at the very end but then tasted it for at least 20 minutes after that.
