i shotgunned a can of mountain dew once, this we pretty similar. too may bubbles, very sweet after taste and not even a slight buzz afterwards. oh well, it's done now so whatever.
it took me a awhile standing around in 7-11 to try and figure out what i hadn't shotgunned and thanks to mikey, who was kind enough to check from his computer hundreds of miles from where i was, i found out that i have done neither black (plus) or orange (original) sparks at all.
straight outta canada thanks to mark and courtney! they probably don't have fun stuff like bubbles in canada. first time shotgunning on camera with jamie and it pulled the evening together. son skull, white boss and bogus machine at couch heaven!
there was a race put on by the cutthroats bicycle club that i couldn't make it to but the finish line was basically behind my house so i went to check it out and thanks to stu i got a new can to make it one day closer to my goal. stu is headed to the cycle messenger world championships so wish him luck!
(i think you can actually see my current home at 6:40)
i've been wanting to film a riding shotgun because its always a crowd pleaser and its fun to do on the way to or from a party. thanks to jp for filming this one!
only a single rainbow but what better drink than a slinger hard punch, which i can find no info on anywhere. spazzy brought it back for me from georgia and i'm supposed to give a shout out to the store he got it at even though they didn't know what it was and the lady that rang him up had apparently never even seen it before. what a sweet deal for $.99.
a wonderful day at hadad's lake, i had psyched myself out thinking this was gonna be impossible and i did need a break but i think i could have just kept going and been ok. i could still stand after this and even rode my bike back to church hill in good shape and went swimming at the rooftop pool.
got off work and wanted to party hard by not going to the andrew w.k. show, instead we went to a party where we got kicked out and then went to a party where we got kicked out and then went to a party where we got kicked out...ahhh best friends day, gotta love the friendly spirit everyone is in.
so the beer for the day was a tasty coconut porter that ricky brought back for me but i also managed to shotgun a least 27 other beers so you have to watch the long video to get to #17 for the day if you want to see the coconut porter get sg'd in a birthday cave!
so i actually had to split it into 2 videos so the coconut porter is the beginning of the first. i also had to compress it a little bit to fit it so some quality may have been lost.
probably the most impossible to see shotgun of the project so far, and i'll take the blame for it. i figured the light would draw too much attention to the fact that i snuck beer in to shotgun. hope you enjoy the blurry screaming females song and the pitch black natty ice shotgun.
happy birthday to mike! he has been very supportive during the duration of this project. he supplied many cans to the cause including both other el jimadors i have so when i found these spicy mango cans i figured his 25th bday was a great time to down them.
i will admit that this didn't work out as awesome as i had hoped, don't get me wrong it was a blast, but shotgunning while smashing a car with a pickaxe is kind of difficult.
this was supposed to be spooky but i think it just ended up being funny. happy friday the 13th! (it was the only one this year so i hope you made the best of it)
spent hours at the flying squirrels game waiting for the rain to stop so the game could start. at about 9pm they called the game and when we started to get ready to go i decided i might as well shotgun the beer i had snuck in even though the stadium was emptying out. luckily there were a bunch of people with giant beers in hand ready to cheer me on and show me some team spirit for my first minor league game in richmond.
some modelo on the streets...down the block from the cops. the hole on this can got out of control and it turned into more of a gash, which took a different mouth angling approach than usual.
i'm glad that tilt continues to make new drinks even though i have a feeling that they will never catch on to the same extent as four loko. i feel like a song about tilt would never be as catchy as "loco for four loko"
all that wait...and nothing special, in fact this one sucked. something didn't sit well with the foam and it had me hoping for vomit to at least clear my throat out.
had the day off and it worked out because we got hit by some sort of tropical storm and it poured hard. the roof even leaked in a few places. we made the best of it and shotgunned beer and put together a hulk hogan puzzle. no regrets!
so many undistinguishable black pieces but it all worked out.
i knew carlton was down to get twisted....he's always down to get twisted. and i had a good feeling he could down his can faster than me too, i'm getting old. sometime before summer is through i wanna make an alcoholic arnold palmer in my belly by shotgunning a can of lynchburg lemonade or mike's harder lemonade followed by a can of twisted tea.
no crusties were harmed in the filming of this shotgun. i ran into some out of town kids on my way home from work and they yelled "spaghett" at me so i figured i'd better turn around, introduce myself and then see if they wanted to shotgun a beer. unfortunately i only had one on me and they were all sharing a 40 so they just added some backround enjoyment while i shotgunned my tecate.
no animals we're harmed in the filming of this shotgun. this was a team effort for sure. one person to bite the beer open, one person to shotgun it and one dog to give me kisses afterwards. this moo thunder is awesome with it's dark color and rich hearty finish.
